Each Photomast is handcrafted and manufactured using the highest-grade high-density carbon fiber. Based on the specifications we apply, the Photomast is the strongest and most stable photographic mast in the world.

At equal weight, carbon fiber is three times stiffer than fiberglass, steel, or aluminum. High-density carbon fiber is 70% lighter than steel, 40% lighter than aluminum, and 30% lighter than fiberglass. The Photomast is engineered as a monopod for fast and safe operation, eliminating the need for a tripod (see FAQ). The top section features a 3/8-inch stainless steel thread, allowing any tripod head to be mounted.
